Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actress. She is most famous for her role as Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Her other roles include Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting at Preparatory School, before her family relocated to Ohio in the late 1970's. The theatre studies she pursued was through Northwestern University. A semester was taken in the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career working in the Chicago area theatres for a few years. After that, she switched to film and television. In 1992 Anna was offered her first big character in the role of Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. Anna continued to appear in movies and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others until late 1990's. She was then placed in The Practice as Jean Ward. In 2000, she was cast in Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. In 2008 she was cast as Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully in addition to Deadwood was another movie she appeared in. Gunn was also on the stage starring in the David Schwimmer-directed production of Sex With Strangers. Gunn was in the role of Numbered Days, a four part audio podcast that will air in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final end reflect the final years of Walter White.
